I'm a freelancer and automation consultant. I like understanding how things work... businesses, processes, people. I write about what I'm learning along the way. The practical stuff (UpWork, clients, building things that run without you) and the questions underneath all of it.
This site is where I think out loud.
A little context
I spent years doing work that looked right but didn't feel right. Good job, steady paycheck, checking boxes. The whole time there was this quiet voice asking... is this it?
Freelancing was how I started answering that question. UpWork was the door. Learning to see everything as a system I could understand and improve... that's how I made sense of it all.
Now I help businesses fix the technical problems that waste their time... automation, CRM setups, tools that actually talk to each other. But that's not what this site is about.
This site is about the bigger thing. How to think about work. How to think about time. How to build something that matters while being present for the people you love.
I live in Grapevine, Texas with my wife Sophia and our daughter Leah. I'm still figuring it out. But I think the figuring out part is worth sharing.
